From Idea to Video Art Performance As a workshop
In this workshop, the basics and stages of development of video art are studied and the student is guided to make video art and display in the gallery by acquiring knowledge while filming and developing the idea in the classroom.
Workshop sessions include:
Session 1 (Week 1): Introduction to Video Art - Video Art Display - Workshop Ideation
Session 2 (Week 2): Introduction to Independent Filmmaking - Film Screening and Discussion on Production Method and Technical Issues - Guidance and Completion of Students' Ideas Visually
"Guest Master: Ardeshir Samsar (Filmmaker)"
Session 3 (Week 3): Familiarity with sound design and talking about technical issues of sound - guidance and completion of students' ideas in terms of sound
"Guest Professor: Naeem Meschian (Sound Engineer)"
Session 4 (Week 4): Final screening of students' video art and deciding on the type of work to be presented (video art-video installation-video performance .....) for display in Jaleh Gallery
** After selection, the works will be displayed as a group exhibition in Jaleh Gallery **
At the end of the course, students will be given a certificate of participation in the workshop "From Idea to Video Art Performance"
Equipment needed to attend the workshop: Image recording device (mobile or camera)
