The Light Dances
The contrast between dance and mourning, between release and entrapment, between slipping and erosion, has inspired the creation of this series. These works are not depictions of events, but rather echoes of the turbulence of moments oscillating between motion and stillness.
In “Light Dances”, dance emerges as a reflection of liberation in the face of stagnation and sorrow—an endless struggle that never culminates in the triumph of one over the other. Bodies that keep turning, despite the weight of time’s wounds, refuse to come to a halt. This very tension forms the core of the series: the simultaneity of movement and inertia within the flow of time, in moments where joy and grief coexist and breathe together.
