Geometric abstraction in contemporary aspect

Geometry: Head [Head/S] / (Ma'rab, A) and in Arabic to the first conquest means size and shape (Borhan). It is one of the principles of mathematical sciences and is a science in which the status of values and sizes is discussed. (From the kashf of al-Fanun's reforms).

The word "geometry" is the Greek word for "gyometrica", meaning "measurement of the earth". During the transition to modernism, many modernists and later contemporary Iranian artists, Relying on geometric motifs and regular lines in their works as a symbol of unity or philosophy or merely as a visual element, they have reached an abstract and sometimes minimalist expression.

Abstraction-ism and avoidance of mere naturalism and tendency to artistic formalism are visible in the works of these painters. The main features of their works include its continuity with mathematics and geometry, as well as the tendency of the artist's mind to a hidden order.
